Monday Journal December 15, 2008

Something that I did this weekend that was different than usual was getting a Christmas tree from the tree farm. Me my Mom My Dad and my brother cut down a tree with a saw and carried it to the car, also it started snowing when we showed up at the farm. At home we all decorated the tree with Christmas ornaments lights and beads. We also decorated me and my brothers bunk bed.

Over the weekend I had a friend over and we made weeples for the holiday fair till 12:00. Later when my friend left I had to go get a present for a birthday party I was going to. Me and my dad went and bought a amc movie theater gift card. The party was at laser quest I played two rounds of laser tag then we ate pizza and cake. On Sunday I did math homework then I cleaned my gecko cages with my dad and ate pollo loco. At seven My family and I wached Mr.Bean and finaly went to bed.

What is something that makes you feel sad?

I usually feel sad when I have lots of homework and I work on it for a long while then when I finish it I know I still have a lot more work to do. When I do something that makes me and other people regret of not doing something.

Release in this community means to be let go by the community, gone and never seen again because they killed "put to sleep" with a shot to the artery with poison or a different killing agent.

He always thought and was told that it was being sent to a different community and he had gained feelings and he did not think that people were killed there so when he found out it had made him think that there were so many lies told to him.

His father like everyone else in the community accept for Jonas, has no feelings or emotions and they don't care.

I think it is cruel and terrible and the worst thing possible to do. It is basically murder and suicide and there is no hesitation or care to those who release the other people.

Monday Journal December 1, 2008

First on Wednesday I stayed home for most of the day since it was raining but later my mom told me and my brother to go to the library, so we put on our rain coats and walked to the library. My brother and checked out some books about holidays for him for his homework and I checked a dinosaur movie out for my self. On thanksgiving we went to our friends and there were lots of people there. I ate lots of pumpkin soup and turkey and later I ate cake. After diner I watched Wall.e and the Incredibles. On black Friday we didn't go shopping early in the morning we went in the afternoon. In Fries electronics store we bought the Simpson game. On Saturday morning we ate bagels with salmon cream for breakfast. on Sunday we played the Simpson game a long time and later we went bike riding at the coastline then went to buy things for wood shop in home depot finally we went home and played more of the simpsons game.

The Giver 1

The world has to be kept at peace by having no memories of the past to keep order in the world while there is only one that should know so that he or she may lead and share the memories once the time has come. The Giver in this story is the former receiver who received the memories from the Giver before him, now he gives the memories to the new receiver. If everyone in the world knew about all of the pain emotions that once existed then no order could be maintained. One must only have all memories until it is time for every one to know.

Monday Journal 11/24/08

I liked Leonardo's design for the robot and how it was supposed to and how to move using clock works and gears, the underwater breathing suit was funny because the diver was supposed to pump air with an air blower under water. I really enjoyed the play and movie to.

I did not really like the upper level and the beginning of the Leonardo tour. So once I saw every thing I quickly got bored since you could only look at all the models and not touch anything.

I think that you did a good job with the field trip so I don't have any suggestions.

Trimester 2
I would like to continue to do group projects like the Medieval newscast. I would like to continue doing Tuesday trivia and where in the world Wednesday. The Weighty Word book is another fun thing to keep on doing I want to keep on doing simulations in social studies. I would like to do literature circles again to.

I believe we should do simulations more often and that we should do a power point project in socia studies.

Over the long weekend I did a lot of things. So it started with my family and my brothers god father (who came to visit us from Rochester, New York) going to my soccer game, then we went to my brothers last soccer game and after the game we went to the soccer pizza party. On Sunday all of us went to the San Juan Batista mission and ate at a restaurant close to it and they have delicious beans there. latter we went to pinnacles an walked in the caves and we even saw one bat.

The best birthday present I could ever receive is a pet swift bird. I would like one because when I was in Poland and we visited many places one castle we visited had a garden and there was a swift laying on the ground and just barley breathing we took it to my aunts house in a camera bag we fed it egg ham we gave it water and soon it seemed to get better and better.

Over the weekend I did many things. It started when I got up from a good night sleep and I ate some candy from my candy bag I got dressed and made food for my geckos and sprayed them with water. Soccer was canceled cause of the rain Until 4:00 I had work on my cooking power point project I studied on the internet and I did a good job especially on the pictures my mom made when I was cooking. At 4:00 my friend came over for a sleep over and we made lots of weepels for the entrepreneur fair we ate pizza for dinner and watched back to the future and back to the future two and ate the pretzels I made.

For Halloween I am going trick or treating with my mom my dad and brother. We are probably going to go trick or treating in a group with our friends. If I find a Haunted House open then me and my brother will go with our friends. For Halloween I am this scary dude with lots of scars and a stiched up face who has this black robe, a rope tied around his waist and has a sythe. If I could do anything tonight I would like to go to Poland and trick or treat with the rest of my family.

On Monday I did absolutely nothing unlike my super amazing weekend. I stayed home all day read some books finished some homework and watched TV. I played some games with my brother and ate pasta for dinner. Now time for my amazing weekend. It started with a soccer game which the score was a tie 2 to 2. We went to my brothers soccer game it was a score of 0 to 0. Later we went to a place to eat called Nam Pho to eat is serves vietnamies food. when we were driving home a car crashed into the back of our car, nobody got hurt exept for the back corner of our car it was dented inward. Later a night we went to a soccer game the earthquakes against canada the earthquakes won and it was realy exctiting.

During the weekend I did a lot of things. It started with a soccer game in the morning me and my soccer team played hard and we won three to two. After the game we went home I worked on some of my weekend homework for dinner we ate squid and pasta that I helped cook and my brother made salad. On Sunday morning we wen to the running of the bulls five kilometer race there were around one thousand people running I ran it in 24 minutes and 11 seconds I was sixty-ninth place and my mom won a raffle my brother was in the kids race and got first mt parents bought me an Ipod nano and my brother got a Ristic cause we did a good job.

Something that I am optimistic about is for me to become a paleontologist one day. I hope that one day I will be a paleontologist I was optimistic about my whole life I learned much about paleontology and I have learned and know lots about dinosaurs. I have no other optemism for anything else.

What I did over the weekend oct,13, 08

My weekend started with my soccer game my team and I played well but we still lost 1 to 7. When we got home I began installing my full version of Spore I bought on Friday I already had the creature creator version but this on had everything, you can create and customize your own creature you begin as a cell then a creature then make tribes then city's and finally space and other planets. On Sunday I went to pinnacles to see bat caves, then we went to eat in a restraunt and got ice cream and then went home.

My Idea of a dull evening is if I have lots of things one after the other and when I would come home I would have lots of homework and it would be late like seven A.M. If I had to work till ten and then have to go to bed and I would be very tired.

This weekend on Saturday when it was raining me and my brother went rollerblading while my Mom and Dad were taking a walk with us we all went to my brother's elementary school and went around the neiborhood. On Sunday morning I cooked Eggs in a Nest for breakfast. Later we went to big basin national park and took a refreshing walk. Then we went to a friend of my parents house. When we got home I made scones then I went to sleep.

Friday journal my favorite time of the day

My favorite time of the day is Friday after school. I like Fridays when school finishes because I know that I have lots of time to relax and that I still have two days to relax after Saturday and Sunday. I can have some free time and not need to worry and do something that you did not have time to do during the week days, For example I would play Godzilla unleashed on my Wii or watch some thing on TV and my favorite thing to do on Friday is to go to Barges&nobles to by some books.

responce#4 final thoughts and observations

I think that the title Anna of Byzantium fits the book since it tells the reader the main character Anna and the setting.
The book changed me on how I look at the world in books and what the world was like for the characters in the story.
Questions I would like answered after reading this book. One is why Simon betrayed Anna, another is what happened to John that he became so clever and resisted to be ordered by his grandmother.
People who like rapidly changing conflict should read this book, people who like to read adventures stories should not read this book.
I would give this book rated 7.

During the weekend I had to wake up early because I had soccer pictures and then we had a soccer game, then my brother had pictures and and a game. At five we had friends come over for dinner. the next day we went to the ocean and to a long walk at home I did the math homework we got for the weekend and then we rested and went to bed.

What is the worst thing parents can do for their children?
I believe the worst thing parents can do is to ignore them. When parents don't really take care of their children and not help them when asked. when the parents do not care what the children do or how they behave like when some children do not do well in school usually parents talk to them and see why they don't do well in school and try to help, while the worst parents don't have any concern about their children.

Character Developement

ANNA of BYZANTIUM


I am still a little childish Like Anna In some ways, but I don't believe I am like any one in the book. Simon reminds me of my sixth grade teacher Mr.Garrison, he was always teaching us in fun and new ways we always made conversations with him during class on the world. The character I would like there to be is no one since it would not make the story make sence, but if I had to I would choose Godzilla. If I would talk one of the characters I would ask what their life was like and if it was hard or not.

Day 1

Over the weekend me and my friend went camping to Yosemite. On the first day we went on a three hour hike on Lumber dome it was very cold, windy, steep and dangerous at the very top but it was a beautiful view. The day after we went on the Vernal falls hike. it was along and tiring way up but when we got the top it was cool the source of the water fall came from the emerald pool which came from water coming down the stony hill my friend (daniel) slipped on the water and slid down it like a water slide and landed in the lake sized emerald pool. we also drank some of the water coming down the hill.
